Kutani handpainted Shonzui lidded yunomi from bansho kiln

A classic blue and white lidded yunomi in the shonzui style. Different traditional patterns are hand painted in wavy bands around the body and the lid. In addition to the banded designs, this yunomi also features small windows carefully painted with the sansui (sacred mountain and river) motif and a recessed grey "sabi" line which adds definition.
