Kutani sake set - grapevine
Practical and very attractive sake set from Kutani consisting of a sake bottle and two small cups. The base is a pale green (green celadon) crackled glaze. The cups and bottle feature a central band painted with a grapevine design in shades of green,purple and yellow on an olive-green background. The bottle has an additional band of greenish-blue around the base of the neck. Three small dents have been pressed into the sides of the bottle, making it easy to hold.
Handcrafted in Ishikawa prefecture, Japan.
