Ginga (galaxy) yunomi from Shinemon kiln
A beautiful yunomi with an arresting design from the Shinemon kiln (of craftsman Baba Shinemon).The softly blurred horizontal bands and light speckles against the dark blue background suggest the drama of the night sky. This cup is signed on the bottom by Baba Kusuo, who became Shinemon II in 2007
