A tall bottle with an elongated neck.
The natural ash glaze has a slightly burnished sheen and a lovely earthy landscape consisting of
a diagonal swathe of rugged texture around the body. This bottle can be used in a number of ways,
from serving shochu or water to being used as a flower vase.
A well executed and versatile piece.
Handcrafted in Okayama, Japan by Bizen artist Mimura Kimiko (Touhaku II)

Mimura Kimiko
The Touhaku kiln was first set up in Okayama prefecture in 1972.
After the first generation Tohaku's death in 1974, the kiln was suceeded by his daughter Kimiko,
who continues to produce beautifully warm pieces in the traditional Bizen style.
