Kuro Bizen tumbler by Shibuta Toshiaki (Bizen 335)

Kuro bizen is so called because of its black color. The color is achieved by the application of a thin layer of iron-rich clay before firing. The bold swathes cut into the side of the sake bottle are particularly attractive.
The tumbler is ideal for drinking whisky or other spirits "on the rocks", but can equally be used as a large yunomi for tea.

Approx. size: width (at widest point) 3.9"(10cm), height 3.3"(8.4cm),
capacity 10.1oz (300 ml)

The tubler comes in a signed wooden box.
Handcrafted in Okayama-pref., Japan
