Hagi kakewake pair yunomi from Noutomi Susumu kiln

These yunomi were crafted by a talented young craftswoman Shinka of Noutomi Susumu kiln. The leaf-shaped patterns are created with different colors of slip and are given an interesting texture by the addition of slight vertical ridges. The different nuances in color cause the cups to look different depending on which side they are viewed from. The woody effect gives the cups a natural, modern look.
