White Hagi (Yohen) guinomi by Ohtani Masahiko #2

Ohtani Masahiko studied for fourteen years under respected Hagi craftsman Miwa Eizou at Miwa Kusetsu kiln, and this yunomi amply demonstrates the perfection of his craft during this time.

This yunomi has a beautiful two-tone effect, the white glaze having changed to a dusky pink partly due to a reaction during firing.
