Natsume-gata tetsubin kettle by Kozan
Created by the third generation craftsman Kozan, this imposing kettle takes its name
from the natsume fruit (jujube or Chinese date) whose shape it is said to resemble.
The body is scored with hoizontal lines for added texture.
This kettle has been specially treated by steam baking for 30-40 minutes, an oxidisation process
which improves its rust proof qualities. Despite this, care should always be taken to empty the
kettle thoroughly after each use. The handle cannot be folded down.
The handle is fixed in place and cannot be folded down.
