Yuzu Tetsubin kettle by Iwachu

"Yuzu" is a citrus fruit which looks a bit like a small orange. This tetsubin is called "Yuzu" because the pitted surface resembles the peel, and the leaf design  is modelled on the leaves of the actual fruit.
The handle is fixed in place and cannot be folded down.

This kettle has been specially treated by steam baking for 30-40 minutes, a oxidisation process which improves its rust proof qualities. Despite this, care should always be taken to empty the kettle thoroughly after each use. The handle can be folded down.
