Kutani Peony teacup by Miura Terutada

A delicate teacup with a lovely feminine shape. The pure white porcelain features peonies in subdued shades of purple

against a band of traditional red Kutani pattern. One small bloom graces the interior. Created by the craftsman Miura Terutada, who was apprenticed to Yamamota Choza,Master Craftsman by appointment to his Imperial Majesty Emperor Heisei.
