"Yusai" matcha chawan by Hasegawa Takayuki
The contrast of the vivid yellow glaze against the very dark green background gives this chawan a very dramatic feel. The glaze is slightly crazed.
Hasegawa Takayuki is a talented young Kutani craftsman who has won numerous awards and has exhibited at many prestigious exhibitions in Japan.
