A magnificent yunomi featuting the ancient "Karajishi" design of a fierce shishi (mythical lion) and a peony(botan).
The vibrant overglaze painting looks particularly dramatic against the white background. Decorated with bands
of sometsuke around the bottom and inside the rim. A substantial cup with great presence.
