A yunomi with a very striking design of thin horizontal bands in shades of chocolate brown, dark greenish-blue and orange on an earthy beige base. This pattern echoes the design found on traditional Japanese spinning tops. The simple, clean lines give it a fresh modern feel. Handcrafted at Rizan kiln in the Akatsu area of Seto city, Aichi prefecture, Japan.
