A delicate teapot made of high quality clay. Decorated with engraved shochikubai, i.e., pine tree, bamboo, plum which are a lucky symbol in Japan.The original shudei (brick orange colored) pot is placed back in the kiln and re-fired in order to achieve this beautiful burnished brown color.
Handcrafted by Gyokudo(1936-2012), winner of various national prizes.
