Engraved "Fujin and Raijin" teapot by Kodo/Setsudo

This beautifully crafted teapot has been engraved and painted by Tokoname Traditional Craftsman Kodo.
"Fujin", the god of wind and "Raijin", the god of thunder have been engraved with Kodo's characteristic care and attention to detail.
Finely etched lines capture the fierce experssion on the gods' face and add texture and movement to the overall picture.

 

Handcrafted in Tokoname, Japan.

Built-in handcrafted ceramic mesh infusor

Hand-engraved by traditional Tokoname master craftsman 'Kodo', Master Craftsman recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and winner of various prizes.
The teapot is made by his brother Setsudo.
