A beautifully formed teapot crafted out of supreme quality clay sourced from the vicinity of Tokoname's ancient kilns and prepared using simple age-old techniques such as soaking and washing in water and extracting only the best quality raw materials.

 

Created in a wood-fired kiln about 7 years ago.
Handcrafted by craftsman Konishi Yohei, eldest son of Yusen I, recognized as a Tokoname City Human Cultural Asset and recipient of numerous prestigious prizes.
