Yohen Nunome teapot by Motozo
This teapot has deeply ridged sides and a textured finish (Nunome) which is achieved by using a sheet of fabric pressing onto the clay while it is still moist. A piece which is both pleasing to the eye and also to touch.
The teapot has built-in ceramic mesh infusor. Handcrafted by Kameoka Katsushi of the 'Motozo kiln' in Tokoname, Aichi pref.,Japan.
Approx. size:length (body + handle) 5"(12.9cm), height 3.1"(8.1cm) vol. 8.1oz (240ml) *The volume of each teapot is measured at full capacity (ie. filled right up to the rim, just under the lid).
