Small flowers Itome teapot by Shoryu

The Itome design ( thin horizontal grooves) is present all over this teapot, from the handle to the spout. The fine lines reflect the light, giving the pot a lovely sheen and an interesting "roughly-smooth" finish. A simple design of wild flowers provides the focal point for the front of the pot.
Shoryu's excellent craftmanship is also evident in the fact that the teapot is very lightweight in comparison to pieces of a similar size.
