Mentori guinomi by Ohtani Masahiko #17

This guinomi is made by the "kurinuki" technique, ie. hollowed out of a block of clay. The sides are then cut to create interesting dents and contours. This is known as "mentori". The dramatic shape and white glaze give it a modern feel and the contours make it pleasant to hold.
