Butterfly yunomi from Shouhou kiln

The deep, bright yellow glaze is characteristic of Shouhou kiln which prides itself on the vibrancy of its colors. The three butterflies in shades of purple, blue and green flitting around the edge are given added dimension by an outlining technique known as tubelining. The inside rim is graced with a delicate sometsuke flower design. Very cheerful and eye-catching. Hand crafted in Kyoto,Japan
