Kozanji gyokuro set by Ryosen

Beautiful classical set consisting of a teapot, yuzamashi and 5 cups by Ryosen, a Kyoto craftsman noted for his sometsuke techniques. The design is based on the "Choju-giga" (frolicking animals) a set of four scrolls for which the temple of Kozanji is famous. Finely drawn on delicate white porcelain, the design of rabbits and frogs in various poses is both comic and charming.
