Kyoyaki handpainted Tsuten red maple leaves teacup from Touan kiln

This is a limited design,commemorating the 90th anniversary of Touan kiln.

Tsuten is the name of a bridge at Tofuku-ji temple in Kyoto which is a famous spot for viewing maple trees.

The interior of the cup is covered with a thin white glaze allowing one to better appreciate the color of green tea.
