Celadon teapot (Daikokuten engraved) by Shimizu Jun #9

The color of this teapot is a delicate shade and extremely difficult to represent in a photograph.
The body and the lid of the teapot are partly engraved with Daikokuten (a bountiful god) motif. The details of the engraving are very delicate.

I have tried to take photos with different color adjustments in order to show how the color is perceived in various light.

The celadon color looks slightly darker where the glaze has settled around the spout and handle and also in the recessed parts.
