A hand-painted sometsuke (underglaze) bowl, featuring panels decorated with traditional Kutani patterns. The bowl is given further opulence with the inclusion of overglazed designs in classic Kutani colors.
The center panel features two birds in a natural setting (kacho design). The bowl also has sometsuke designs around the sides. A very elegant piece by one of Kutani's foremost craftsmen.
