A one-of-a-kind white kairagi kyusu by Mukuhara Kashun. The body has a softly rounded form. The distinctive kairagi glaze creates a bold network of crackles, while subtle variations in tone reveal the character of the clay beneath.
The term "kairagi" is traditionally associated with the textured surface of ray or shark skin used on Japanese sword handles.
