      Born  in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Eldest daughter of living  National Treasure Tokuda Yasokichi III       
   
      1990- Graduated from the Ishikawa  Prefectural Kutaniyaki Institute of Technology       
      1991- Commissioned to create a  ceramic wall mural at Kanazawa Station and at Komatsu Sukoyaka Center       
      1997- Awarded the Japan Festival  Grand Prize for her collaboration on a ceramic wall mural in  Gateshead, UK      
 
      2010- Succeeded to the name  Yasokichi, becoming Tokuda Yasokichi IV (previously Junko)       
      2012 - Made a full member of the  Japan Crafts Association 
      
      2015 – Commissioned to create a  ceramic plaque on the concourse at Kanazawa Station      
      2018 - Held a private exhibition at Onishi Gallery New York

    Her work can be found at the  Ishikawa Prefectural Art Museum, the British Museum in London, U.K.  
    and the Indianapolis Museum of Art amongst others       
    
    She has held various private and  group exhibitions in department stores and galleries throughout  Japan.
