Shigaraki Wood-fired teapot by Onishi Satoki #24
Only parts of the interior are thinly glazed.
Due to the strong firing, the lid of wood-fired teapots tends to have a looser fit.
However, this does not affect their function when used in the traditional way—pressing the knob down with the forefinger
while pouring tea ensures smooth and steady use.
