Minoyaki Mt.Fuji chawan by Mizuno Kenichiro
Mt.Fuji, a traditional motif for raku chawan, has been interpreted in many different ways by many different craftsmen. The design on this chawan has been achieved by the masterly application of thick glaze which has just the right color gradation to give definition and to suggest a heavy covering of snow. It looks particularly striking against the black background. The chawan has a fine grainy texture and is light.
Comes with a paper box. Handcrafted in Mino, Gifu prefecture by Mizuno Kenichiro
