Makie Dragon pattern kyusu by Shoryu

The dragon motif is decorated using Makie, a traditional Japanese technique in which gold and pigment are applied to create intricate designs. The clay surface also carries a subtle scattering of gold particles.

Scrubbing or rubbing the surface is not recommended, as both the Makie decoration and the gold finish will gradually wear away with abrasion. Rinse gently with warm water only and dry with a soft cloth.
