Wood-fired Tokoname/Bizen ushirode teapot by Yoshiki

A back-handled teapot displaying the balance typical of carefully crafted Tokoname ware.
The pear-shaped body and dome-shaped lid give it a special charm. This pot was crafted while the artist was staying in the Bizen area and was wood-fired according to local tradition.

Handcrafted in Bizen, Japan by Tokoname skilled craftsman, Yoshiki.
