Tataki Ushirode kyusu by Yoshiki #1

A beautiful shudei kyusu with a "hammered"(tataki) finish, crafted by reputed Tokoname craftsman
Yoshiki. The "inro" style lid has a tall base and fits into the mouth rather than lying along a groove around the top. The ushirode (back handle) teapot is used in Sencha-do.
It is also suitable for Chinese tea.

Handcrafted in Tokoname by Yoshiki.
